Hello, Pre-AP students. Welcome to my blog page. I would like you to try to create your own Avitar and tell me how you like the story “Seventh Grade” by Gary Soto. What was your favorite part? Least favorite part? If you could change one thing in the story, what would it be?

I want this site to be a place for you to communicate with me. Maybe there was something that you wanted to say in class, but could not. Maybe there is something that you would like to discuss that I have not mentioned. This is the spot for that kind of dialogue.

~i like 7th grade (the book) because it is just like our school like almost identicle to bms~

i really enjoyed 7th grade (the book)…i also agree with ashleigh because i also think that it remind’s me of our school… i think that 7th grade (the book) can remind everyone who reads it about their school… i personaly think that Victor should of told her that he liked her instead of showing off and trying to impress her although it did work… i think that guy’s/girl’s should just tell the person they like, that they like them… rather then show off and try to impress them with something you have no idea what your talking about because you would never know if the teacher would correct you rather then let it just go like Mr.Bueller did… but i know that it takes courage to tell your crush you like them so i would tell one of my friends that I CAN TRUST…!!! to find out if he likes me or not but if your brave you should tell them yourself…!!

(IT’S A LOT BUT IT’S JUST WHAT I HAD TO SAY…!)

Hi Mrs. Gift!!! I liked “Seventh Grade”. It really connected to the kids at BMS. Maybe around the world!!! I still can’t believe Teresa thought Victor was some kind of French expert.Mr. Bueller is a very understanding and supportive teacher. Overall, it was a very satisfying story. Thanks Gary Soto!!!

hey Mrs.Gift i liked the book 7th Grade it reminds my of BMS and i think Victor should of told Teresa thats he liked her and Mr.Bueller is a great teacher he understands whats going on with Victor but over all it is a great book

i think the book was ok. i liked how it was about what kids experience in school and how some of us handle it.
